Forest Glen Alpacas, LLC is a Christian family-owned and operated farm located 10 miles outside Titusville.

Forty-Eight Suri and Huacaya alpacas make their home here. We offer a variety of services, some of which include breeding and selling alpacas, boarding and agisting alpacas for others, consulting on how to get started in the alpaca industry, as well as info on the care and raising of alpacas. There is an onsite gift shop. Gift items sold here on the farm include hats, sweaters, gloves, teddy bears, scarves, yarn, and much more, all made from alpaca fiber.

Forest Glen Alpacas was started in March of 2003 with the purchase of 2 pregnant females, a maiden female and a herdsire. As the years have passed, we have grown to 35 alpacas of our own and 13 boarders. This past year we have expanded to include an online store.

While sales online have not reached our expectations, we look forward to a more productive 2010 as our name gets out there. Tina and her daughter Heather did 12 area craft fairs last year and sales were very good even with the recession. We look forward to expanding the number of craft fairs we attend this year.

We are open to visitors from schools, 4H groups, scouting groups, VBS groups, and many more. One only needs to call to schedule a time. Groups can not only visit the gift shop but they are introduced to the alpacas and the guard dogs that live with them. We are handicapped accessible and have had several adult daycares visit over the past year.

The farm is solely run by the Weston family, although folks can schedule a work day if they wish to experience the alpaca lifestyle. Shearing is done in the month of May, and extra help is always welcomed. Many of the new crias are born in May and June, making it a favorite time to visit. Folks wishing to work with the yearlings (halter training and socializing them) are able to schedule a time with Tina to come and help out.

2010 promises to be a very busy and exciting year. We look forward to meeting many of you throughout the year, either here at the farm or at the craft shows.
